Group Piano Program Policy

How much does the program cost?

  • Tuition is $25 per lesson, with a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $45 per family.

  • Payment Methods: We only accept bank transfers (no convenience fees) and credit card payments (with 3% convenience fees) for regular lesson payments. A $25 fee will be charged for a declined payment. A $15 late fee will be added to your account if the payment is not received 3 days after the due date.


What is included in the program?

  • Curriculum: 45 min/week

  • Timeline: Usually completed in 4 months (Ages 4–5) or 3 months (Ages 5–8).

  • Payments: Monthly tuition is billed consistently until all lessons are completed, regardless of how many weeks fall in a specific month.


What if my child needs to miss a class?

  • If your child will miss or needs to reschedule a group class, please email us at opusmusicinfo@gmail.com 24 Hour in advance.

  • Group Lesson credits cannot be rolled over to the next month

  • Makeups are only available within the same week and depend on space in another class of the same level.

  • To support students who need additional help or who miss a class, each student may receive discounted private lessons at $40 for 30 minutes (regular price: $45). This can be used as a makeup or for extra support.


Withdrawal Policy

  • To withdraw from the program, written notice must be provided at least 30 days. Tuition for the final month will not be refunded.


Group Classes

  • Best for beginners and younger students

  • Fun, social, and motivating environment

  • Builds strong foundations (rhythm, reading, basics)

  • Encourages confidence and peer learning

Private Lessons

  • One-on-one, fully personalized instruction

  • Faster progress and deeper technique development

  • Ideal for advancing students or specific goals

  • Flexible pacing based on the student

School Schedule & Holiday Breaks

Please refer to the OMS calendar for School schedule. Weeks when no lessons are offered have been marked in the calendar. There are 5-6 weeks during which no regular lessons will be offered:

  • Spring Break: One optional week in March 2026

  • Summer Break: 7/20/2026 – 8/2/2026

  • Thanksgiving Week: 11/23/2026 – 11/29/2026

  • Winter Recession: 12/21/2026 – 1/2/2027
