Doctor of Musical Art degree from the University of Kansas

Dr. Szu-Chia Lin received rigorous classical training through specialized music programs from an early age and has developed a broad range of experience as both a soloist and chamber musician. As a performer, she has appeared across Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Taiwan, and the United States in both solo and collaborative settings.

In her teaching, Szu-Chia integrates imagination, exploration, and sensitivity, encouraging students to engage with music with curiosity and confidence while maintaining a strong technical foundation. She values each student’s individual musical voice and supports their personal artistic growth.

Szu-Chia holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Kansas, a Master’s degree from Boston University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Taipei.
