Our Team

Yina Qiao is a coloratura soprano and pianist trained at Southern Methodist University and the Manhattan School of Music.

She has performed with the New World Symphony and at festivals including Aspen Music Festival,  Mediterranean Music Festival, and Miami Music Festival, singing roles such as Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor, First Mother in Dead Man Walking, and Alms Sister in Suor Angelica.

As a collaborative pianist and teacher, she has accompanied SMU diction classes and student recitals.

Yina’s teaching focuses on strong fundamentals, confidence, and helping students truly enjoy their instrument and the music they make.
